Amina was a very frightened stray dog, avoiding any human presence by maintaining a distance of 20 feet. It was clear that she was fleeing from something unknown.

When Christina Mariani spotted this lost pup in Detroit, she felt an urgent need to assist her. Despite efforts to locate Amina's owner through numerous lost dog platforms for several weeks, no one stepped forward to claim her.

Surprisingly, it appeared as though nobody had recognized her before; however, Amina consistently roamed within the same few blocks of the area.
